Community Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for a Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt here on our outdoor lawn! Free and open to the public.


Come and enter a free raffle for a chance to win prizes, including our grand prize: a 3 month FREE membership at the North Suburban YMCA (one submission per family).

  • The event will take place at 2737 Techny Road on our outdoor lawn. We share a parking lot with the YMCA and we anticipate plenty of parking (additional parking available in the neighborhoods immediately north and west of us). Make your way over and check in at our Welcome Station. Then you're all set to egg hunt! The hunt will be ongoing between 9:30 and 11:30 AM -- come at any point during this time frame.

  • In the case of inclement weather, we'll host our Egg Hunt inside the building.

  • It's go-at-your-own-pace at any point during the time frame of 9:30 - 11:30 AM. We ask that each egg hunter limit themselves to 15 eggs each. Inside each egg is candy or fruit gummies. 


    NOTE: All candy is gluten and nut free. There is a mix of soft and hard candy so all parents/guardians are advised to use their discretion over what their children consume. 

  • Our actual egg hunt is geared for those aged 10 and under. We'll have two basic sections for egg-hunters: one section designated specifically for smaller children only (approx. age 3 and under) and another general section for everyone else. 

  • Nope! Totally free.

  • We've got you covered! We'll be providing paper bags for every egg-hunter which can also be colored and decorated at our Decorating Station. (You are, of course, welcome to bring your own basket if you wish!) 

    • Easter Bunny -- come grab a picture with the Easter Bunny
    • Decorating Station -- color/design your egg-collecting bag
    • Craft Station -- make a fun streamer to take home
    • Easter Tattoo Station -- come grab a (temporary) easter tattoo
    • Joy Postcard Station -- make a postcard to spread joy to someone else
    • Chalk drawing

  • The grand raffle prize is a 3 month FREE Family Membership at the North Suburban YMCA. Other prizes include gift cards from local businesses. Anyone who comes and gives their email will have a chance to enter the raffle (one submission per family). If you signed up ahead of time, you'll get two submissions per family in this raffle. We'll announce who won the raffle by email after the event. Winners can come collect prizes at the church at their own convenience after. 

  • Yes, yes, yes! Anyone is welcome to come regardless if they signed up ahead of time.
